A fired auto-service center employee in Blair County is facing charges after police say he intentionally set the garage ablaze.
The fire occurred around 11:21 p.m. Monday at the Blue Knob Auto Service Center on Route 764 in Allegheny Township, Allegheny Township police say.
The Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal was called to the scene and confirmed the fire appeared to have been intentionally set, according to police.
Through the investigation, police say they were able to identify Nathan J. Hall, 43, of Duncansville, as the suspect.
According to police, Hall was a recently terminated employee of the Blue Knob Service Center.
Investigators say the night of the fire, he crashed his vehicle through the garage door to break into the building. He then ignited a flammable liquid inside, investigators say.
